The Freedom to Make Mistakes
Tales from the Dyslexic Side
Shared memories of dyslexia were really helpful and seeing how other people had come to their own realisation and the effects that dyslexia had had on their lives was important to me. It still is. I still read everything I can find about dyslexics sharing their personal stories.
Then one day, I read Philip Schultz's My Dyslexia and apart from telling everyone how amazing it was, it really got me thinking.
"Wouldn't it be a great to share everyone's personal dyslexia stories?"
So that's what I'm doing now. I'm collecting stories from dyslexics who want to share their memoirs with the world. Dyslexia can only ever be a disadvantage if you keep it a secret, once you accept it, it's your superpower.
If you are dyslexic or are close to someone who is and would like to share your stories, please get in touch. I'd love to hear from you.
